Kirbyjon Caldwell is Senior Pastor of Windsor Village United Methodist Church in Houston, Texas, the largest and fastest growing Methodist church in America. Under his leadership since 1982, the Windsor Village Church Family has grown from 25 members to a congregation of 15,000 Kingdombuilders.

 

A native Houstonian, Pastor Caldwell was educated in the Houston public schools. He has earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from Carleton College; a Masters Degree in Business Administration in Finance from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business; a Masters Degree in Theology from Southern Methodist University-Perkins School of Theology; and two honorary Doctor of Law Degrees, one from Huston-Tillotson College and the other from Carleton College.

 

Pastor Caldwell’s visionary leadership is driven by the belief that the church must
embrace theology, identify societal problems, and deliver solutions holistically. With a
mandate to take the sanctuary to the streets, the Kingdombuilding ministry has resulted in the growth of close to 100 ministries that serve the community seven days a week and a proven track record of successful community development – all aimed at improving the lives of individuals and families. Nine independently operated nonprofits have been birthed out of the church’s ministry efforts to address the unmet needs of persons of all ages.

 

Pastor Caldwell is author of the bestseller The Gospel of Good Success (recently revised as Be In It To Win It!) and the co-author of Entrepreneurial Faith. He is a member of The Century Club, NEWSWEEK’s list of 100 people to watch in the new millennium and, according to the New York Times, one of five pastors in the nation that President Obama turns to for private prayer sessions and religious discussions. He is married to Suzette Caldwell, Associate Pastor of Windsor Village United Methodist Church and has three children.

 

The Living the Kingdom Experience television ministry expands the reach of Pastor Caldwell’s unique vision to add value (e.g., improve marriages, increase parenting skills, address tough times and beyond) to the lives of a greater number of individuals and families with relevant messages and information that can be immediately applied to everyday living.
