"ENVISION AND WIN IN 2K10!"

 

George Barna defines vision as “God’s preferred future for your life.”  God has a preferred future for the spiritual, social, family, medical, educational, career, financial, and emotional aspects of your life.  For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope – Jeremiah 29:10-11.  Without God’s vision for your life, you will perish.  Your finances, family, health, emotional equilibrium, etc. could all perish – without God’s vision!

 

Accordingly, then, with the help of Nehemiah 4:6-20, let’s look at the dynamics of God’s vision and visioning process.

 

God has a vision for your public and private life. 

Whenever God’s vision is cast, do not be surprised by the devil’s attack.  For every Divine Vision, there is an attempted division.  The prefix di means “two, separate.”

God does not will that His visions be dominated by the devil’s di’s.  When the devil         blocks your initial strategy or vision implementation, God can offer a re!  The prefix re           means “back or again.”  Check out how God blessed Nehemiah with a rein verse 13.

As you “walk out” God’s vision for your life, it is not uncommon for you to lose your       joy, enthusiasm and obedience.  During those moments, God specializes in granting the      faithful a glimpse of your vision’s victory.  The prefix tele means “to bring closer.”

God provides!  Only God, the Supply and Supplier, can ultimately usher in both the          vision and strategies for fulfilling the vision.  The prefix pro means “to support.”


When God expressed His vision of Israel becoming a whole nation in Ezekiel 37, some folk thought it could not happen.  When the women who had been bleeding for twelve years envisioned her healing in Luke 8:40-47, some folk scandalized her name.  Nonetheless, God is able and He is not restricted by critics.  Ask and you shall receive faith.  Thank God for victorious visioning through prayer, preparation, persistence, planning, implementation, and more prayer.
