Weekly Inspiration for Daily Living from Pastor Kirbyjon "KINGDOM LIVING!"
For almost three decades now, the Windsor Village Church Family has been intensively engaged in Kingdom work within the life of the church, the community and the surrounding area. Let thy Kingdom come on earth as it is already done in heaven, as Jesus says, has been one of our focus points for decades. In his book Applying the Kingdom, Dr. Myles Munroe provides a very enlightening explanation of what we have been doing. Some excerpts from the book are below. I want to encourage you to both listen to his series and to get his book so that we can be faithful, fruitful stewards of God’s Kingdom.
King Jesus did not come from heaven to minister to humanity, die a shameful death on the cross, arise from the dead and ascend to God the Father simply for us to have somewhere to go when we die. Thank God for everlasting life; but life is more than about dying. The Lord wants us to live – live with and for Him. The Lord wants us to usher heaven into the earth, not just look forward to heaven when we leave the earth. And because He is a faithful and loving God, the Lord has given us instructions on how to do just that in Matthew 6:33.
Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added to you, when applied, will not only define your priorities and simplify your life, it will set you up as a citizen of The Kingdom for the life that the Lord wants you to have.
Oh give thanks unto the Lord for He is good and His mercy endures forever! Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and step into full Kingdom citizenship and rights. And be thankful for God moving exceedingly abundantly above all you could ever ask or think according to the power that works in you.
